Norfolk Parish Register images online!
A huge thank you to Bill Atkins for letting me know that the Norfolk Parish Registers are now online at the LDS site!
This wonderful resource is at
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start
To get to the Norfolk images, look below the search form & click on "Search or Browse our record collections," then click Europe on the map on the next page. Scroll down the list to the United Kingdom. "England, Norfolk Parish Registers, 1538-1900" is (as of this writing) 2nd from the bottom of the UK list.
You'll see a list of parishes in the left-hand column. Click on the parish you want, then another column will appear with the registers; click the type of event you want, and a third column will appear with the dates available. Then click "Browse (however many) images"
And enjoy!
Please note: Your browser has to have Flash enabled to access the images. Also, I've noticed that trying to save an image while in full-screen mode results in a browser freeze - at least on my Mac.
